Paul John Birch is the founder of Revolver Co-operative, a multi-stakeholder co-operative bringing together farmers, workers, retailers, and consumers under shared ownership. Since launching in 2010, he has led the development of transparent, ethical supply chains across coffee, tea, and chocolate - ensuring value is reinvested at origin and supporting communities through sustainable livelihoods and long-term partnerships. The business is a certified B Corp, scoring 163.8 - one of the highest in food and drink globally - and has been ranked number one for both coffee and tea by Ethical Consumer.

With over 40 years’ experience across international trade and the creative industries, Paul also leads Revolver Records. Over his career he has released thousands of records, working with globally recognised artists and major labels, and helping export British music worldwide. His work today focuses on scaling a co-operative model that combine commercial success with meaningful social and environmental impact - demonstrating how business can operate more fairly for both people and planet.
